It was the opportunity to provide more value to clients that inspired founder Michael Bovaird to leave his position as Director of SAP Recruiting at a Big 5 consulting company and form SophLogic in 1998. While the IT industry is rife with consulting companies that overcharge clients and hold close their knowledge to ensure clients remain dependent, he knew he could provide the same resources with much greater value for clients. He created a lean organization that could adapt and respond to opportunities more quickly, providing clients with the same services as the Big 5 – but better, cheaper, and faster.
